Youth Ministry
First of all I want to share a couple tools for youth and adults to easily get informed with on bible topics.
One is www.campusministry.org This link takes you to "The Basics" discipleship tools for students. It's a 100 page downloadable pdf file from CMT (Campus Ministry Today) There are lots of other teachings there created to address the contemporary issues that students face. Another tool I found that is great for topical searches is https://www.openbible.info/ I direct students to this and they can do a search on just about any kind topic and get bible verses related to it.

We have been going weekly into middle and High schools in the San Fernando Valley under the umbrella of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and The Jesus Club. We give out bibles, pizza and preach a Gospel centered message often to hundreds of students at a time. We bring 2 boxes of pocket bibles 100 count and often give them all away!
It wasn't till I was 26 years old that I became a believer. My family were not believers and I didnt get much of the badly needed discipline that the bible espouses, Proverbs 22:6 So God sovereignly intervened and revealed Himself to me one sunny day as I was daydreaming on a sidewalk. (See testimony page)
It was a long slow process growing up spiritually. It took 30 years probably because 30 was the age Jesus started His ministry. You could say that when I was born again I had to grow up again. If there had only been someone to explain God and the bible to me the way I know it now, I think I would have been a lot better off and not had so many struggles. I want to give the youth of today that key advantage. A big head start that will get them on track to fulfilling their major life's purpose.
I was a professional Kickboxer in the mid 80's through the mid 90's. I learned what it meant to train hard and win. After retiring from the ring I started training others. I became good at training and preparing young fighters fast tracking them into the competition circuit. Most of them won just about all their early matches. One female boxer (Mikaela Mayer) later went on to qualify for the first women's US Olympic boxing team. Over the years I studied other Olympic coaches and learned about more advanced skills that the elite boxers were doing. I learned how to start them more directly on the necessary training drills for them to succeed in competition instead of allowing them to learn the slower harder way.

Future Olympians need the best innovative experienced trainers. Of course the natural skill and ability of the fighter is a huge factor especially for the top fighters. There are however a lot of young boxers with potential who don't go as far because they often don't find good trainers to counsel them through it all. You just don't know what you don't know until someone who knows better shows it to you. (Romans 10:14) I feel this is the same kind of problem within many Churches and ministries today. People need to learn realistic biblical principles and cutting edge ministry methods to fight the good fight of faith and win. We need more expert trainers in the faith, fathers, apostles, prophets, Elijah forerunners to raise up our youth and teach them everything they need to know to win the big battles, overcome the world, and conquer kingdoms...
